Upstairs this Thursday TAMSIN WEST returns to Jazz On Thursdays!
Tamsin has performed with many ensembles, singing some of her favourites from Peggy Lee, Doris Day and Bessie Smith.
Tamsin performs regularly at festivals around the country and tonight is joined by the Joe Ruberto Quartet - Jason Downes on reeds, Dean Addison on double bass, Dean Cooper on drums & of course everyone's favourite pianist - Joe Ruberto.

TAMARA KULDIN is back at Jazz On Thursdays! Tamara, a Melbourne based melody maker, is all about bringing back the sass and sophistication of that vintage era of music with her own modern, sultry yet playful twist. A lover of storytelling through song, Tamara’s unique and versatile vocal styling has been inspired by a diverse palette of female vocalists such as Doris Day, Sarah Vaughan & Joni Mitchell. This lady is a songbird that is always fun and entertaining. Tamara will be joined by the Joe Ruberto Quartet made up of only the finest of musicians in town - Paul Van Ross on woodwinds, Dean Addison on double bass, Tony Floyd on drums & Joe Ruberto on piano.

ANZAC Day holds deep meaning at The Rising Sun Hotel.
Our name and Rising Sun emblem share a close connection to our location and heritage, just moments from the Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance. Each year, we are proud to welcome ex-servicemen and women, along with their families, as we honor their service and sacrifice.
We open from 9am, providing a warm and respectful place for those attending the Shrine services to gather before and after the commemorations.
Live on our big screens, we show the annual AFL ANZAC Day clash between Essendon & Collingwood — a great Australian sporting tradition that brings people together in the spirit of the day.
